I'm happy as a three-year-old child, because I earn some more cash at Lodz Art Center and tomorrow I'll get my new camera: EOS 10D with 20-80/3.5-5.6. As for a dSLR it's quite old, but that shouldn't be a problem. I'm only afraid of what'll follow: most of my friends who own SLRs are an example of how a person gets hooked once he/she buys one. The collection of lenses, filters or other equipment grows at a startling rate, and only lack of money can hinder the process [very probable].

BTW. It's a pity that 10D doesn't support EF-S mount, so I'll have a limited choice of lenses. That has one advantage, though: if I'm crazy enough to get into analog photography and buy an analog EOS body, all of my lenses will work. If I want to shoot a roll at an abandoned factory, I won't have to worry that I can't take my wide-angle because it doesn't fit into the analog body.
