As for work: LDZIGN [Lodz Design Festival] starts on 16th October at Lodz Art Center [link] . I have to do some electrical stuff for them, like making various cables, installing lights etc. Call me an electro freak
1) pay for lacking ECTS points - sometimes you don't pass all the exams as you would like to
2) go to the Independent Festival in Warsaw, because the line-up is awesome [WAY better than the one at Castle Party, although the latter was OK too - Deine Lakaien were stunning!]. Unfortunately, I'll have to miss some concerts as I'll have an exam on the second day - it's sad news, because I was especially keen on Frank the Baptist, The Last Days of Jesus, Emilie Autumn, Clan of Xymox and Das Ich... There'll be some minor events, too: two SDGE parties and Deathcamp Project's "Well-Known Pleasures" release party. Deathcamp Project isn't probably known worldwide, but it's a really good gothic rock band. Their sound is very energetic, having quite a lot in common with The Sisters of Mercy or Clan of Xymox, with lots of guitars and synths. Definitely worth listening to - you'll probably find some of their songs at Last.fm.
3) finish constructing a big UPS - it's supposed to hold power for an hour or so, it'll run on car or boat bateries and it'll take 7U worth of space in a 19" rack. Effin' behemoth.
4) buy myself a nice new pair of high heel oxfords I have a fetish for
5) buy a dSLR and a new tripod - I'm a loony and I know that, you needn't tell me!
