Just stumbled upon grimdickings.tumblr.com/post/1… ... (the quotes, not the comment in italic)
And I say: Oscar Mike Golf, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?! This is Foxtrot Uniform Bravo Alpha Romeo!
(check NATO phonetic alphabet if confused)

Can't stop wondering why anyone has the audacity to say things like that... Remember - we're talking about making a verbatim digital copy, not the reproduction of an art work (especially a masterpiece), where a person who's imitating still has to show a lot of skill to make the work indistinguishable from the original. And putting the copy into circulation without proper attribution, or sometimes - to add insult to injury - using it in offensive/embarassing contexts, etc.

So, my shoutout to anyone who tells an artist who had their work stolen, that they should be grateful/keep quiet/nothing happened/shouldn't have published it/etc. (any abusive shit like that):
Create something yourself. Put some - or even better, a lot - time and heart in it. Then publish it on the net (dA is a good place). Look at new works from time to time, and I can guarantee that you'll see your work in a few months, or even earlier. And then, think about how you feel... you can even try posting some words on your journal/tumblr/twitter/FB/etc. about what happened, and you'll surely find someone who'll tell you the same abusive shit. If you tell them to go fornicate themselves, you're right on point... because that's what I wanted to tell you in the first place.

Needless to say that I get pissed off when I'm browsing through posts on Tumblr and see an interesting photograph/drawing/painting/any other artwork, but there's no info about who created it. Imagine that there are people out there, who become interested in someone's art and would like to compliment them, or find more works because they have a distinctive style. Lack of proper attribution makes it super-hard. Especially if the work is popular and has been reblogged many times.

Anyone capable of logical thinking should realize that, really...

And as for the ATRA term, it looks like I've coined it (no occurrences in Google as of 2014-12-30 7:52PM GMT). Feel free to use and spread the word. Those douchebags are not unlike MRAs, even though the latter defend outdated bullshit which has impact on lives of anyone other than white cis straight male healthy able-bodied upper/middle class, anytime and nearly anywhere.

I'm an amateur photographer and model. I'm interested in urban exploration, alternative fashion, goth/punk/deathrock etc. culture. Anti-conservative as well as anti-hipster. Pansexual genderqueer feminist open for relationships :). Keen DIYer, esp. when it comes to making and repairing electronic equipment or bikes. I love the utility and city sort, and the whole "cycle chic" thing really appeals to me.

Aha :)
Już wróciłem... w sobotę. Byłem na prawie dwa tygodnie popracować nad pewnym projektem, ale coś się zanosi, że jeszcze mnie tam zaciągnie - na dłużej :)
